AmeriCorps VISTA

HHI has once again teamed up with the Alliance to End Hunger and the Corporation for National and Community Service to recruit a one-year full-time VISTA member!

In 2016, Dayton, OH was ranked the 2nd worst city in the United States for food hardship in households with children. At the Hall Hunger Initiative, we’re working to build a sustainable and just community food system in the Miami Valley that provides good food for all. We believe that in order for our communities to thrive, everyone must have access to healthy, fresh, affordable, and culturally appropriate food. In all aspects of our work, we seek to address hunger that exists today, and work in solidarity with those most affected by food inequity to support sustainable solutions for tomorrow.
